Over many years of retailing, I have visited clients’ farms to review their system after they have said that they have no worms and need a replacement. I have quickly shown the client that there are many babies and eggs throughout their system. Yes, there may have been a massive loss of bigger worms but it is a very rare situation for the loss of all worms. Before requesting the free replacement of worms, we highly recommend you immediately stop feeding your system and place 4 to 5 litres of water in your system and water at least 2 or 3 litres every second or third day for at least 6 weeks. This is a cooling down situation which will then create an environment for the eggs to hatch and you will then start to see worms.
